The International Outreach Program offers unique annual events and programs with various countries to improve cultural awareness, encourage academic achievement, and inspire the motivation to develop creatively in sports.

Goodwill Staff Cathy Henderson & Sherri Lowe 

I-Team Comments:

"It is good that Kinder Spass organized a tour of Goodwill, because it's wonderful that such organizations as Goodwill, which is designed to help people in need and give jobs and career opportunities to handicapped people. Seeing this had opened my mind about persons with handicaps and this really made me aware of the fact that just because a person has a disability, does not mean that they have are useless and have no chance to live an independent and constructive life."


WNBA Indiana Fever players Hoffman #34 & Jackson # 5 

 The I-Team visited Indianapolis, Indiana and sat on the front row to see their first WNBA basketball game (Indiana Fever). The I-Tour visited the Conseco Field house and lounged in the VIP Club room. After the game, they attended a meet and greet with the players where they received T-shirts and made many photos.

I-Team Comments:

"Sitting in the front row made me feel as though I was actually in the game."


Dolphin HumanTherapy in Key Largo, Florida

The I-Team visited Key Largo, Florida and learned about Dolphin Therapy, which consisted of building physical closeness with the dolphins (feelings shared through the soles of the feet and palms of the hand). The Dolphin Therapy also includes playing with the dolphin or beluga by throwing balls or rings, feeding them, swimming with them and closeness to them in the water.

I-Team Comments: 

"It was very interesting to visit the Dolphin Therapy clinic because I learned the positive effects of dolphins on handicapped children and various physical illnesses of babies."

WNBA Houston Comets

The I-Team visited Houston, Texas and watched the WNBA Houston Comets. The Comets have been an annual I-Teams event. After the game, the I-Team met with the Comets team and received personalized autographs.

Tayshaun Prince from the NBA  

The I-Team visited the Palace of Auburn Hills, home of the Detroit Pistons and former Detroit Shock. The I-T had a meet and greet with NBA Player Tayshaun Prince. 

WNBA Silver Stars Players Dydek #12 and Bibrzcka #10

The I-Team visited San Antonio, Texas and watched the Silver Stars (Stars). San Antonio has been an annual I-Team visit. After the game, the I-Team met with Margo Dydek #12 and Agnieszka Bibrzcka (Biba) #10 and discussed the difference between American professional basketball teams in comparison to their perspective countries. 

LUBRIZOL a World Industrial Leader (Deer Park, Texas)

Annually the I-Team, Tour Team or Outreach Team has visited Lubrizol, as part the Kinder Spass education and career development program.

Lubrizol is a leading global producer and marketer of technologically advanced chemicals and specialty materials for the transportation, consumer and industrial markets.


The I-Team at the Houston Air Rescue Fire Fighting Station # 54.

A warm welcome was extended to the I-Teams by the Fire Department, which included viewing the fire station, riding in a fire truck and being allowed to spray water from the huge mobile truck extinguisher. The I-Teams was treated to a fajita dinner prepared by one of the greatest chef's among firemen.

I-Team Comments:

"Going to a real fire station is more educating and more rewarding than the things shown in the movies and that it was a unique opportunity to go behind the scene and see apart of the actual lifestyle of real firemen like Melissa and Nick."

The I-Team visited Galveston, Texas and toured Shriners Children's Hospital, Burn Center for Children.

I-Team Comments: 

"It's amazing that Kinder Spass arranged a personalized seminar by the Shriners Children's Hospital. Kinder Spass is serious about developing greater interest of youths and young adults internationally to open their hearts and minds concerning issues of misfortune with children...This type of encouragement, and drive by Kinder Spass to motivate the youths and young adults to become involved in meaningful careers has really opened my eyes...I also find it good that Shriners Hospital for Children allow children under the age of 18 to receive excellent medical care absolutely free of charge and that the Shriners Hospital accept and treat children without regard to race or religion."

Working with organizations and groups from various countries

In addition to affording Selected Scholarships recipients the opportunity to participate, the International Outreach Program also integrates organizations & groups from various countries.

International Team

Participants of the tours have endeavored, excelled, and succeeded in their studies and athletic abilities during the year and are afforded the opportunity to tour the United States or abroad. You must be at least 14 years of age because events are held at various times during the year in various countries. The tours require Travel Medical Insurance, and successful assessment from Kinder Spass.

We are proud to say Kinder Spass offers excellent educational opportunities, career development and professional athletic growth through educational and developmental programs and organizations.

A limited number of Select Scholarships are available. Hopefully you will be the one to receive a Select Scholarship.
